# Galbit in Yangjeong: good marinated ribs, weak gochujang yukhoe

> A rib restaurant by Yangjeong Station. I liked the sweet marinated ribs and preferred them in a lettuce wrap, but I cannot recommend the gochujang yukhoe.

I often eat with a friend from college. This Wednesday evening the first plan was boiled pork. But while my friend was running late I looked around the area by Yangjeong Station, found I wanted ribs more, and we went into Galbit at about 7:20.

The restaurant looked clean. It is a place I would suggest when you want to eat meat somewhere clean near Yangjeong Station. When you order, side dishes and cold boiled pork come out together on one tray.

I liked the marinated ribs for their sweet marinade. They go on a wire grill.

They also show you how to tuck the ribs into a dinner roll with cheese and eat it like a burger. I preferred the ribs in a lettuce wrap.

It is open from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., with last orders at 10:30 p.m. If you use the Buddhist Center parking lot, they cover one hour of parking.

We ordered the gochujang yukhoe too, and it disappointed in both looks and taste. I have had a good gochujang yukhoe in Jinju, but I cannot recommend this one.
