# Misong Hamo Shabu-shabu in Songdo: a clean, refreshing broth

> A conger eel restaurant in Songdo where three of us had dinner. My first conger eel shabu-shabu had a clean broth, and the window looked out to sea.

At about 7 on a Friday evening, while visiting a younger friend's home, I stopped at Misong Hamo Shabu-shabu for dinner. Dinner service had just started, so it was quiet, and we sat by the window and could see the sea.

Three grown men ordered the conger eel shabu-shabu and conger eel sashimi.

I had eaten the sashimi now and then, but this was my first time having it as shabu-shabu.

It tasted clean. The broth was so refreshing that drinking alongside it felt like an instant hangover cure. The staff member who served us was kind too.
