This is a cold noodle restaurant I make a point of visiting whenever I am in Daegwallyeong. I went at about noon on a Friday for a quick lunch.

I usually prefer the spicy mixed version, bibim-naengmyeon. That day, though, I wanted the one in broth. Maybe it was because I had been drinking the night before.

I had the corn cheese pumpkin dumplings with it. They are a limited item, and I recommend them. I did not get a photo.

When I come with a group we often get the boiled pork slices, which are good too. The rice cake and dumpling soup I had here in winter was also tasty. I think I have tried nearly everything on the menu.

The road is newly paved, and I am told it may not show up on navigation apps. The advice is to watch for the signs from about 300 m before you arrive. There is parking. It is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a break from 3 to 5 p.m. Last orders are at 7:30 p.m., and it is closed on Tuesdays.

Masil Cafe is on the second floor. I suggest going up for coffee after the noodles.
