> Old-style red bean shaved ice I had in Namcheon-dong at about 6 in the evening. Ice topped with red beans and green tea powder for 4,000 won. Many mosquitoes.

I went to Namcheonri Patbingsu at about 6 in the evening. The same day I also went to [Cheongsong Yanggopchang](/en/posts/namcheon-cheongsong-yanggopchang-20260810/) and [Noneun Bada](/en/posts/namcheon-noneun-bada-20260810/).

You reach it through an alley, and the entrance and the building have an unusual look. It is a spot with wisteria in the middle of the city.

The patbingsu is 4,000 won. They start making it after you order, and it still comes out quickly.

It is old-style shaved ice, not milk shaved ice. Green tea powder sits on top of the red beans. The red beans were good. It is cheap, and I was satisfied for what I paid. It suits a light finish after a meal or a break from the heat.

Extra red beans cost 1,000 won more. I have never added them.

The drawback is the mosquitoes. There are many, and you can get bitten.
