# Cafe 824 in Gijang: a mango bingsu with very sweet mango

> A seaside cafe in Gijang where a friend and I had dessert after sashimi in Ilgwang. The sea opens up in front, and the mango was very sweet.

At about 4:20 on a Saturday afternoon, after sashimi at [Dongbaek Hoetjip in Ilgwang](/en/posts/ilgwang-dongbaek-hoetjip-20260530/), a friend and I stopped at Cafe 824 for dessert. I had [also been here in April](/en/posts/gijang-cafe-824-20260427/). The open sea in front of the cafe is its biggest strength.

We ordered the signature mango bingsu, a snow-style shaved ice shaped like a skein of thread.

If you like mango bingsu, I suggest going. The mango on this one was very sweet.
