# Yeije Kalguksu in Gujora, Geoje: the noodle soup alone is enough

> A noodle soup place near Gujora Port where a family member and I went to cure a hangover. The soup in the 43,000 won set was generous; the sides were not.

A family member came on vacation, and we planned to fish and swim in Geoje. We had been drinking until dawn the day before, so at about 11 the next morning we looked for a restaurant to settle our stomachs. I like kalguksu and seafood. We went to this place near Gujora Port.

We came without a reservation, and one table for two was left, so we sat right away. After that, more guests were waiting. I also saw groups eating together. I think it was because it was peak season and there were many group reservations.

At first I meant to have only the kalguksu. But the set with sides looked good, so I switched to the couple set for 43,000 won. It comes with the seafood kalguksu, soy-marinated crab, spicy marinated crab, and Chungmu gimbap.

The kalguksu was generous and had a lot of seafood in it, which I liked.

The sides fell short. The marinated crab tasted fine, but the crabs were small. The Chungmu gimbap felt sparse.

Kalguksu alone for two is 30,000 won. I have not decided whether to go again. If I do, I think the kalguksu alone would be enough. I recommend the kalguksu to two or more people who like seafood. But the minimum order is for two, so it is hard to eat here alone.

The fishing went well the day before, so next time I may come to Geoje alone to fish.
