On a Tuesday evening I suddenly felt like a drink. I called a friend who was leaving work, and we went to Dongnae at about 7. The place we first meant to go to was Jokdagwi, but many people were waiting and we gave up. So we went to Bokcheon Anju Maeul, which I had been curious about for a while. It is a bar with food close to Dongnae Station.

It is a place that is often full. That evening about two tables were free, and we sat toward the back.

There were several dishes I wanted. But some were sold out and my friend has trouble eating seafood, so the choices narrowed. We ordered the boiled octopus first.

The octopus came out quickly. It was chewy, not tough, and it tasted good. I think it was boiled well. I am told this place brings in seasonal seafood from around the country.

Partway through we ran short of food and added boneless chicken feet. I had not eaten chicken feet for a while. It is a taste I know, and it worked well with drinks.

The food comes fast and the prices are reasonable. I suspect that is why it is so busy. It is a good place for an easy drink.

We drank about two bottles of Chamisul. These days Chamisul caps have MBTI types printed on them. I am an INTJ and have not found that cap yet, so I check the cap every time I drink.
